Position Summary:

Our Client is seeking a strong technical leader to drive multiple development projects in the superconductivity field.  The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in superconductivity or cryogenics and a proven track record of successfully managing large high visibility projects for utility, US government and industrial customers.  Duties will include day to day leadership of key projects.

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong technical background/experience in superconductivity or cryogenics

• Ability to provide risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

• A proven track record of strong technical leadership and aptitude.

• Highly organized and experienced in managing work plans, budgets and schedules for large, high visibility projects.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills are essential to interact effectively with customers, agency sponsors and our client’s senior management.

• Familiar with US government accounting and contracting

• Project experience in the utility industry a plus

• Experience in managing a multinational team desirable

• Strong ability to build and motivate teams consisting of internal resources and external US and international partners.

• Eight to ten years experience leading or coordinating highly technical projects.               

Education: 

• BS ME or EE minimum
