Position:  Lead Engineer

Location:  Bennington, Vermont

Our client is a rapidly growing corporation that provides prototyping, testing and pilot production services to enable the rapid and cost-effective commercialization of MEMS and other microsystem products. Our client has an alliance with a large University’s Automation & Robotics Research Institute enables the seamless transition of state-of-the-art research in automated Microsystems packaging and assembly to custom commercial applications.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee an advanced production group

•  Manage the growth of a world class micro manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

• Have a fundamental understanding and ten or more years of hands-on experience with precision robotics, MEMS packaging, assembly and testing in a production environment

• Have a graduate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited program

• A demonstrated ability to work under time and cost pressures

• Insightful understanding of MEMS commercial markets

• Substantial intellectual maturity with strong interpersonal and communication skills
