FUNCTION:

Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of assigned segment.  Insures the continued growth of Sales, Strategic Account Development and maximizes the long term profits of the Corporation.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of assigned market segment by:

    1.)  Making routine employment decisions, reviewing performance and making salary recommendations.

    2.)  Assigning work, providing training and guiding and advising subordinates as necessary.

    3.)  Resolving routine personnel problems.

    4.)  Preparing an annual budget and operating within its limitations.

     

  • Develops the overall strategic direction of the Business segment. Defining the specific areas of market focus within the business segment.

  • Researches and selects the appropriate Prospect and Target accounts which fit with the overall sales and marketing strategy and manufacturing capabilities of the Company, of selling custom injection molding and contract manufacturing services to world wide million dollar Fortune 1000 companies.

  • Insures that all existing accounts in the segment (particularly million dollar accounts) have a definite strategy to insure the appropriate level of service is provided by Regional Sales and Manufacturing to realize the continued growth of these accounts that will result in increase profitability.

  • Evaluates cost analyses and determines price according to market demands and margin and profit objectives of the Company.

  • Prepares business forecasts evaluating inputs from regional sales and operations from all our world wide locations.

  • Evaluates product life cycles with customers to help select the appropriate geographic manufacturing locations that meet the customer’s and the Company’s objectives

  • Develops sales promotion and advertising literature and makes high level customer presentations.

  • Coordinates with the efforts of regional sales, engineering and manufacturing on a world wide basis to insure the highest levels of service are provided.

  • Establish priorities with Operations as necessary; assists in staffing and assembling additional resources and geographic locations as appropriate.

  • Establishes long range goals and objectives for the Business unit developing overall strategies and Specific tactics to insure top line sales growth while attaining bottom line margin targets.

  • Evaluates the financial stability and potential of the selected customers and assumes responsibility for the sales through the final collections.

  • Anticipates and quickly responds to changes in the market and with specific customer demands

  • Works with high level Government Officials, Bankers, Lawyers, etc. regarding new geographic locations, development of grants, tax implications, exchange rates, capital considerations, local customs and market opportunities.

  • Maintains and promotes positive internal relations to sell product
