The CIO provides leadership, vision and
direction for all information technology on
campus and ensures that high quality services
are provided to meet the needs of the entire
college community.
Job Duties:

Strategic planning, management, development
and leadership of Information Technology and
Library goals.

Collaborate with academic departments to
develop a vision for the use of technology
in the classroom.
-
Collaborate with faculty and library staff
to provide technology support systems for
academic research and development
information literacy goals for College.
-
Responsible for the day-to-day management of
the Information Technologies and Library
staff as well as annual goal setting and
performance evaluations.
-
Formulate policies and establish priorities
and standards for infrastructure design,
hardware and software purchases and updates,
lab access and support services.
-
Provide leadership for instructional and
administrative technology, including smart
classrooms, labs, telephone and library
technology.
-
Chief spokesperson for technology on campus.
-
Serves on various college committees and
external committees.
-
Identify current and future application
requirements and coordinate training.
-
Initiate projects and or procedures that
will improve efficiency and effectiveness.
-
Identify appropriate external resources and
take initiative to incorporate opportunities
to enhance technology on campus.

Negotiate and manage major vendor contracts,
planning and management of department
budget.
-
Work with staff to acquire grants to support
technology and Library efforts.
-
Provides technical leadership and project
management and will lead e-business
technology capabilities and initiatives for
the College.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience in developing and maintaining

institution.

students, staff, faculty and
administrators.

Manage and supervise the Information
Technology Department.
