Job Description:

Will facilitate/lead the program planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Understands the engineering development processes sufficiently to develop logical program plans while working with Program Managers, Contracts personnel, senior technical personnel, and other functional or support organizations. Directly contributes to the continued improvement and implementation of new project planning and scheduling concepts, techniques, policies and procedures to meet Program Manager and customer requirements. Establishes and maintains schedule baselines; facilitates the development of the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) and program team structure. Performs related variance analysis and possesses a complete understanding of related scheduling practices. Understands schedule critical path and performs related analyses. Provides data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program reviews. Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding schedule variances.

Required Skills:

8+ years of applicable work experience in the following: Solid planning/scheduling skills with ability to multitask and manage plans and schedules for multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment. Ability to determine and communicate critical path and perform analysis for large programs. Cost/Schedule integration and EVMS experience. Must possess effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Experienced in the role of facilitator and subject matter consultant. Must have the ability to synthesize ambiguous information into a cohesive plan of action through the exercise of sound judgment and experience. Thrive in a high speed, intense environment that requires quick responses and a high degree of flexibility with only general supervision needed. Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and lead planning sessions; develop and update program metrics; ability to coordinate several teams working on multiple subprojects; skilled in the use of Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools. REQUIRES AN ACTIVE SSBI SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Required Education (including Major):

BA or BS in business, software or systems engineering or equivalent experience.
MBA/MS (desired) and PMP (Plus)
