Electrical Engineer

Seeking Electrical Engineers for our client’s Sensor operation in Franklin, MA.

  • Must have at least 0 > 3 years of experience in analog/digital circuits, microcontrollers, embedded software development, and programmable logic devices.

  • Experience with circuit simulation tools, schematic capture tools, PCB design and electronics packaging. 

  • Experience with sensor technology is a plus.

  • Experience with field bus standards (e.g. CAN, DeviceNet, Foundation Fieldbus, ProfiBus, HART, etc.) is a plus.

  • Software/firmware development (e.g. C, C++, Visual Basic, etc.) of applications for the Windows-based PC is a plus.

  • Ability to work within specific time frames and cost parameters.  Capable of evaluating design alternatives required to achieve defined cost and performance targets.  Ability to anticipate and mitigate technical risk throughout the product development process.

  • Strong analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Must be able to interact effectively and coordinate with senior management, department managers, project managers, marketing, sales, other product managers, outside vendors, certification bodies and outsourcing companies.

  • Requires a BSEE degree.
