Position Summary
The Product
& Market Development Manager is responsible for providing
marketplace analysis, strategy development, product
development, and implementation services to increase growth
in the commercial and individual dental benefits market.
Plans, directs and coordinates the product portfolio in new
and existing markets by performing the following duties
personally or through subordinates, vendors, or
cross-functional project teams.
Requirements
-
Four
years of college or equivalent, MBA highly desirable.

10 or
more years of work experience in marketing,
business/product development, or related field, or
equivalent combination with demonstrated progressive
levels of responsibility, experience and leadership in
one or more of the following: marketing, sales, new
product management, business development.

Extensive experience in developing and implementing
yearly business plans which include defining market
share goals, financial (ROI) objectives, product life
cycle planning and development of strategies and
tactics.

Experience recruiting, training, managing and developing
staff preferable.

Health
or dental insurance experience preferable.
