Our Client is seeking a versatile Project Manager with
10 or more years of experience to work at our Pocasset,
MA office. This position involves business development,
project management with water, wastewater and stormwater
projects, client management and strategic plan
implementation related to technical advice, planning,
design, permitting and construction phase services for all
aspects of the water and wastewater engineering practice for
municipal clients. The individual hired should have a wide
range of project experience within New England, and
preferably Massachusetts municipal clients involving many
aspects and components of drinking water, wastewater and
stormwater systems. Broad and diversified project
experience is preferred over a single specialty focus.
Business development and
project
management responsibilities are expected to include all of
the following:

Drinking water supply, distribution, storage and
treatment
-
Wastewater collection, pumping and treatment
-
Stormwater conveying and quality
-
Regulatory compliance relative to drinking water,
wastewater and stormwater
-
Energy efficiency and conservation relative to water,
wastewater and stormwater systems
The
individual hired will have a career history of significant
participation in industry-related professional and client
focused associations, including committee and/or officer
positions. A career history of professional publications is
also preferred.
Significant project experience and client relationships in
SEMA, including the Cape Cod region, would be a definite
plus. Preferred candidates will demonstrate the ability to
work both independently and on multidisciplinary teams, and
have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
The individual hired will be expected to become familiar
with all of our clients services and to participate with all
other project managers to promote the company to prospective
clients with a focus on winning new clients, up-selling and
cross-selling to existing clients.

Candidates should possess:

BS
degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS
preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant
experience.

Professional Engineer registration in MA, or in another
State with the ability to secure MA registration within
a year. Note that for consideration, all applicants
must be US citizens or permanent US residents. We do
not sponsor individuals requiring H-1B visas.

established and highly respected engineering firm with over
200 employees working in a wide variety of technical
disciplines. The company has six offices: three in
Massachusetts (Westfield, Worcester and Pocasset); and three
in Connecticut (Shelton, Middletown and Danbury). They
provide engineering and environmental services in such areas
as water resources, wastewater treatment, civil engineering
and site development, solid waste management, site
assessment and remediation, environmental health and
safety. They provide these types of services to municipal
