Summary:
Under general direction, responsible for
proposal preparations, contract negotiations and
administration of international and domestic contracts that
could be either commercial or government in nature. .
Provides interpretation of contract terms and conditions to
ensure they are in accordance with company policies, legal
requirements and customer specifications. Provides advice on
contractual matters, prepares customer correspondence, and
monitors fulfillment of contractual obligations. Must be
able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities
with or without reasonable accommodation. The duties and

and include but are not limited to the duties described
below.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Reviews terms and conditions and delivery
schedules ensuring accuracy, completeness, and ability
to meet contractual requirements

Manages international consultants,
distributors, and representatives.

Reviews, and within limitations
established by the Sr. Director/General Counsel,
prepares and signs quotations for submittal to customer
assuring that requirements, specifications and terms and
conditions are consistent with Company policy and
procedures. Makes recommendations for revisions and/or
changes.

Negotiates contract prices, delivery, and
terms and conditions with customer and prepares
memorandums of negotiations.

Generates, reviews, and signs all
contract correspondence to customers. Obtains and
processes documents necessary to fulfill contract
obligations. Prepares contract amendments.

Maintains liaison with customers to
resolve contractual differences and communicate
pertinent information.

Reviews, interprets, and recommends
acceptance, revisions and exceptions to contracts and
contract modifications/amendments to ensure that prices,
delivery schedules, specifications and terms and
conditions are consistent with those quoted and/or
negotiated.

Distributes executed contracts and holds
contract award meetings with internal stakeholders to
ensure different functional areas are aware of and
familiar with contract requirements and
interdependencies among functions.

Monitors performance of Company
departments to ensure timely delivery of correct items
and to anticipate contract problem areas and coordinate
solutions. Advises management of serious contract
problems.

Requests, proposes, and negotiates
contract modifications/amendments revising work scope,
prices, deliveries and/or other contract provisions.

Coordinates contract closeouts with
regard to final billings and material disposition.
Qualification
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration or equivalent experience.

Minimum of ten (10) years related
Contracts Administration experience.

Experience with Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition
Regulations (DFAR).

Must have excellent
supervisory/organizational skills and be computer
literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
applications.

Must possess excellent communication
skills with ability to exchange information and
interface effectively with employees and/or customers
clearly and concisely.

Foreign language proficiency is
preferred.
