The Sensor Product Manager located in either Wheatfield, NY
or Franklin, MA, will require candidates who can
successfully plan and lead the effective implementation of
product strategies on a global basis.
o
Create pricing strategies that will foster top line and
bottom line growth.
o
Recommend and manage pricing policies and guidelines.
o
Report on pricing and gross margin performance by product,
market, channel and territory.
o
Maintain price lists and discount schedules, including the
coordination with IT and customer service, for all finished
items as well as accessories.
o
Manage pricing within Avante (ERP system) and Sales Logix
(CRM system).
o
Work with IT to develop and implement flexible pricing
systems and price management reports.
o
Work with finance to ensure accuracy within standard costs
for all products
o
Lead the financial analysis of the new product development
process.
o
Make product cost improvement recommendations.
o
Collect competitive price information and create a database
for benchmarking purposes.
o
Create special pricing schemes for unique items or
competitive situations.
o
Be aware and manage special opportunities in market place
that are bid by multiple customers.
