Portfolio Director, Executive Education

Our client seeks a seasoned professional responsible for ensuring overall success of a portfolio of open-enrollment and global executive education programs.  This program development/ management role resembles a product line management position with P&L responsibility.

You will:

  • Operate in cross-functional environment, and collaboratively manage a matrix of units including Marketing, Corporate Relations, Program Delivery, Executive Education Technology Group, and Enrollment and Admissions Services

  • As a contributing member of the Open Enrollment team, develop and implement a strategy for the program portfolio that maximizes faculty development, educational impact for participants/sponsoring organizations, and resource contribution

  • Manage the program through entire life cycle, including: working with faculty on new ideas, collaborating with marketing on strategy, oversight of admissions process, partnering with delivery teams, and evaluation of the effectiveness of program

  • Work closely with applicants and corporate contacts to develop relationships to manage enrollment and understand the needs of our clients.  This role is expected to develop a comprehensive knowledge of School's existing intellectual capital and ensure ongoing systematic understanding of new intellectual capital being created

  • With faculty, assist in the creation of new programs and refreshes existing ones

  • Collaborate on the global markets strategy and assist in the creation of metrics to assess financial/institutional value

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required; MBA strongly preferred

  • Must have strong interest and the skills needed to understand intellectual content and how to leverage it to create value in the marketplace. 

  • Strong leadership skills, and proven track record of bringing innovation and creativity to complex business issues required

  • Requires strong team player with ability to work with multiple internal groups and across campus in fast-paced, high-energy environment:  customer focused, with proven ability to develop trusting working relationships with colleagues and business partners; strong analytical ability required.

  • Previous experience with brand management strongly preferred; previous exp in executive development helpful.

  • May be required to work periodically on a Saturday or Sunday; international travel required.
