Job
Duties:

The
Business Development Officer is responsible for
providing superior sales and service to our client’s
small business client base.

The Business
Development Officer is charged with retaining and
expanding an assigned portfolio, growing and maintaining
revenue, providing personalized service, and effectively
cross selling.

Identifies and provides
the appropriate financial solutions which lend to
maximum retention rates, growth and profitability.

Thoroughly assesses
need; draws effectively from the full spectrum of business products and services to produce total
integrated financial solutions.

Provides guidance to
clients so that they may make informed decisions about
their financial needs.

Committed to providing
extraordinary, memorable and personalized customer
service exceeding customer expectations.

Possesses a thorough
knowledge of business banking products and services.

Understands various
securities, investments, annuities and retirement plans.

Makes appropriate
referrals.

Uses sound judgment and
acts within authority.

Understands all
appropriate policies, procedures, and processes and
keeps abreast of financial industry news and advances
Qualifications:

High
school diploma or equivalent;

College degree
preferred;

Two years sales and
relationship management experience;

Highly effective verbal
and written communication skills;

Strong organizational
and time management skills;

Excellent sales and
service skills;

Relationship management

Ability to make
independent decisions;
